Note: PointsAway Classic provides access to our wealth of past reviews, updates, reader case studies, and more. Each article describes attributes of award programs – and methods to earn points and miles – that were accurate at time of publication. In most cases, things have changed over the years. You may also find some links and images are no longer available. Please verify any information important to you remains accurate through your own independent research. These articles are provided on a courtesy basis to provide inspiration, but should not be relied upon in making any important decisions.

Last week, we discussed an incredible promotion being offered by Chase for their Ink Plus card. The normal sign-up bonus for this card is already a handsome 50,000 points, but for a limited time the bonus is up to 70,000 points!

In our feature talking about the Ink promotion, I linked back to our guides to earning and redeeming Ultimate Rewards points. I hadn’t updated those guides in a while, though, so I went back to polish them up and make revisions to take into account the program changes and additions that have recently taken place. Now fully up to date, these guides will show you just what makes Ultimate Rewards my favorite points program.

Here are links to both of the newly updated guides!
